I was actually impressed I was able to relax just a little. However, I wasn't able to feel the weight of my hands and arms but I did notice the feeling of warmth in my hands. Afterward I did feel more relaxed and warm for a little while; as I got back to my studies I noticed I became rather cool and needed a light jacket. I have always had an issue with relaxing, which is probably why I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Tonight however, I do have a sense of being more energized. I will continue to test this technique, as well as the others to help me get through my stressful, tensed - up days!
Enjoy,
Melanie
My friend Jessy also has Fibromyalgia. She has struggled with it for a few years now. I convinced her to try some yoga poses in addition to some relaxation and deep breathing techniques and they seemed to give her some relief, especially on cold and damp days. Keep up the good blogging.

Oh yes...the wonders of FMS! I am happy I have been able to be relieved of this pain without medication. That was very nice of you to offer assistance to your friend; I am glad she was willing to take on the activities and have some relief.

I loved your write-up blog because It spoke about balance and peace. I seem to always look fro ways to relieve my social hardships through mental therapy and yoga. I also realize we all have rainy day full of tear and happiness. I must learn to balance each.
ReplyDeleteBalance is something that does not come to easily to me either! It seems as if one thing is in balance, something different falls out of balance. Eventually we will both come to find our inner peace and balance. I look forward to finding out if you achieve this!

I've gotten half-way through it and am really impressed with the technique. I feeling quite relaxed, then duty called or at least in guise of my best friend. I hope to finish the relaxation exercise this week end. Blogging is more fun than I thought it would be.
